Does Consolidator use sendmail, postfix or q-mail?
It's compatible with all three.

Can I change the custom look and feel of Consolidator?
Yes! You can create and incorporate your own HTML header and footer files to completely customize the look and feel of the entire Admin/Members Section, Public Section and Subscriber Log in Section, as well a direct your Members and Subscribers to custom Log in and Log out URLs.
To Customize your copy:
- Log in as a Master Administrator and click on the Master Settings tab.
- Click Settings in the sub-menu
- Scroll to the near bottom of the page where you'll find the Website HTML Templates sub-section.
- Click each available option to see whether it requires a server path or URL to your custom HTML files.

Can I personalize in the subject line and set the From name, from e-mail and To name?
Personalization can be applied to the Subject line, the message, including the welcome message, and follow-up autoresponders. You can utilize most available markers, including sign up date, the IP address the subscriber signed up with, first and last names, e-mail and anything else you request in you custom sign up forms.

Can you limit number of subscribers per list?
Yes, individual Member accounts can be limited by number of mailings lists, number of subscribers and number of subscriber imports, as well as impose import requirements.
You may also specify which Members have access to Autoresponders, Surveys, Filter deletions privileges, other rights and privileges and can suspend individual Member's accounts.

Are the Member's databases and Mailing Lists secure?
One User cannot see another User's database?
Of course! Each Member has their own profile and their own log in details. Once logged in, they only see their own Mailing Lists and data and are completely unaware of any other Mailing Lists in the System.

Is there a function for removing problem email addresses globally?
Each Member has their own private Filter which records subscriber cancellation dates, bounced email addresses and self-defined blacklisted email addresses.
A global filter is also available to all website visitors and can be utilized to ensure one does not receive any email from any Mailing List in the System, regardless of who owns and operates the Mailing List. This function can be accessed by loading uls.cgi?globalfil in a web browser. This publicly accessible function accepts only full and valid email addresses.
Top Level Administrators may also manage the Global Filter from within the Admin section to block entire domains from subscribing to any Mailing List in the system.

Do members need their own website to run their Mailing Lists?
No, Consolidator is completely self sufficient. While Members can generate custom Subscription Forms and place them anywhere on the Internet, they can also direct potential Subscribers to dynamic copies of their Subscription forms generated by your website.

Can I collect additional information for my database using my Subscriptoion Form?
Yes, you can collect up to 20 custom pieces of information from your Subscribers. All information is added to the database. You can then search your lists using the advanced search form, and send mailings to matching results.

Does Consolidator support time scheduled mailings?
Yes. You can pre-enter and schedule as many messages as you like, well ahead of time.

Can potential Subscribers fill in one form to join multiple Mailing Lists?
Yes, the multi-subscribe page allows your visitors to subscribe to all of your Mailing Lists and your Joint Venture Mailing Lists using one Form. However each Mailing List's settings are honored, which means if all Lists have Double Opt In enabled, the Subscriber will need to confirm each and every request.
Additionally, a global Subscription form is also available. Enabling visitors to subscribe to all Public Mailing Lists in the System. Each Member can choose to Publicize each of their Mailing Lists, along with a short descrption, in a Category of their choice
