Scheduled Website and Server Backups (server to server)
Compressed Zip files stored on Local or Remote servers
Optionally email Zip files to storage accounts
Set and forget, confirmation of results emailed if necessary
No more whoopsy daisy
This is an awesome product that completely automates the backing of web sites or entire servers in the background. Set a time and select the directories. Break down back ups by creating multiple back up tasks. Use wildcards to back up selected directories, back up specified directories, or back up one directory recursively starting from any location on your server.
Store compressed Zip files on the same server, have them automatically FTPed to a remote server, or have the Zip emailed to your inbox or a web mail server.
What's the price of peace of mind?
If you're a serious webmaster, you know the value of back ups. eBackUp will create daily backups of your website or web server and safely store them as compressed Zip files in the location(s) of your choice, so you can quickly and easily restore your website should you have to bear the misfortune of lost data due to server error, human error or an old fashioned hard drive crash.
Requirements
eBackup requires three perl modules in order to function. We've found around %60 of Unix servers have these modules installed. To check if your Server has the required Modules, Download and Install E-Vars. Once uploaded in ASCII mode and CHMOD to 755, load the script (myserver.cgi) in a web browser and scroll down to the Module list. You are looking for :
Archive::Zip
Compress::Zlib
Net::FTP
These can be installed on any server by your server administrator. If they will not install them, it's time you started looking for a new host, we'll get you up and running.

Why did we develop eBackUp?
As a Web Host, we know the importance of backing up data. Any serious web host does. While looking for a solution, we could not find anything that looked even remotely reliable for anything less than $998. So we developed our own and are offering to Customers for a very reasonable price when you consider what's at stake. We use it to back up hundreds of websites on several servers daily, so we know it works. This gives us, but more importantly, our customers, peace of mind.
